| LOL, Hi Ashley :) So two awesome things happened to me within the last month. The first is kind of a two parter. My old DD gets totaled one night leaving work. I couldn’t see around a snow bank turning left onto a 50MPH two lane highway. Yeah, that’s how I define unsafe. Nobody was hurt, and the other car wasn't even damaged, but now I gotta fight the state on the insurance surcharge, yay. 
I kinda hated the car anyway, so that’s why it’s a good thing. Not to mention insurance took very good care of me through the ordeal. Which allowed me to get this: 
About the car: It’s a 2005 Subaru Legacy GT Limited Wagon (one of only 1461 GT 5-speed wagons in the US, one of only 926 Limiteds). It’s a 250HP/250TQ (stock form, when new) flat turbo intercooled four with a healthy aftermarket available :) I'm the second owner, I have the complete service history (everything done at the same dealer), had the dealer replace the rear struts prior to purchase. They also replaced the timing belt and all associated pulleys and the tensioner. Did not replace the water pump but I'll keep an eye on that. 98,880 miles on it and it's in great shape. The car is my first Subaru, my first AWD, my first 5-speed DD, and my first turbocharged DD It’s an absolute blast to drive, and has TONS of room, yet it’s only 12 inches longer than my Corolla. I’m gonna need all that room to transport the best thing that’s ever happened to me, also known as the second awesome thing to happen to me in the last month (chronologically speaking): 
Alexander Ferraro was born at 4:58 pm on Wednesday, March 9th via c-section after 2 days of labor. Alex weighed in at 8 lbs, 3 oz, and 20.5" long. Everyone is healthy just really exhausted. I have to thank my amazing wife for all she's done and continues to do for our family. He’s got a cousin who’s only 2 weeks older, as my brother and his wife just had their second kid. He’s the first grandkid on my wife’s side of the family, so naturally there’s a lot of hubabaloo. So yeah, that’s what I’ve been up to :)
